Forgotten by time until its rediscovery in the late 20th century, The Merveilleux au chocolat originated in Northern France.
Traditionally composed of a meringue, coated with whipped cream or ganache, then covered with chocolate shavings, this chocolate dessert is, indeed, marvelous. Its soft and generous chocolate ganache, paired with the delicate crunch of the meringue, is a match made in heaven.
