This classic chicken stuffed with cheese and bacon comes straight from farms in Marieville, Quebec. Pre-rolled, stuffed, and vacuum-sealed, our chicken and cheese roll is frozen to guarantee maximum freshness. It's ideal for sharing and easily fills the bellies of 3 to 4 guests.
Serving our bacon and cheese stuffed chicken roll
To accompany this delicious chicken and cheese roll, garnish the plate with mashed potatoes, green vegetables, or vegetable rice. Preparation is easy—simply defrost the chicken for 24 hours in the fridge, brown the meat in a pan, cover, and bake for just 30 minutes. Cut it into slices and let your guests enjoy the juicy, melty meal.
Thaw meat in the refrigerator 24 hours in advance.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Brown the meat on each side in a large pan with a large knob of butter.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil after 30 minutes and let roast for 10 minutes.
Check that the internal temperature has reached 74°C in the center.
Remove from oven, cover with aluminum foil and let cool for 10 minutes.
Cut the fillet and remove from the meat.
Serve in nice slices of about 3/4 inch with a sharp knife.
The cooking juices can be used as a base for a sauce.
