  • Preparation

    1. Thaw the maultaschen and chicken broth in the refrigerator.
    2. In a saucepan, bring the broth to a gentle simmer. Add the maultaschen and heat for about 10 minutes over low heat.
    3. Meanwhile, cook the sliced onions in butter or oil over medium heat until golden and caramelized.
    4. In a small bowl, combine the green onions, chives and parsley.
    5. For the green oil, blend the oil and parsley until smooth.
    6. Serve the maultaschen in bowls with the hot broth. Top with caramelized onions, fresh herbs and drizzle with green oil if desired.
    7. Serve immediately.
