Cool&Simple Ingredient List
-
Ingredient List
- 2 balls of pizza dough
- 100 g pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 150 g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100 ml tomato sauce (or pizza sauce of your choice)
- A few fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
- 6 mini pretzels (for the stem, to add at the end)
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Kitchen twine or toothpick (to mark the pumpkin grooves)
-
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide the 2 Cool & Simple pizza dough balls into 6 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a small ball, then flatten slightly.
- Place a little tomato sauce, a few slices of pepperoni, and a small portion of mozzarella in the center of each disk.
- Fold the edges of the dough toward the center to fully enclose the filling.
- Flip the dough balls, seam side down, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Using kitchen twine or a toothpick, gently mark grooves all around to create a pumpkin shape.
- Mix the egg yolk and milk, then brush over the dough balls for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the mini pumpkins are golden and puffed.
- Let cool for a few minutes.
- Insert a mini pretzel into the center of each mini pizza to mimic the stem.
- Add one or two basil leaves for the finishing touch.
