After a day on the slopes, there's nothing like a good après-ski plan to relax and warm up. Whether you're with family, friends or a couple, you'll want to plan delicious drinks, snacks and a comforting meal to recharge your batteries. Here are the steps you need to recreate the perfect après-ski at home that you'll remember for years to come!
1. Set the mood for après-ski
As soon as you arrive home, put on your fluffiest slippers and get comfortable. Light a fireplace, or turn on the fireplace channel on the TV, and play your favorite playlist. You can feel yourself relaxing already!
2. Serve comforting hors d'oeuvres
Settle in with some board games and hors d'oeuvres to quell your appetite until dinner is ready. Use pub food as inspiration for your appetizer menu: mini burgers, sausage appetizers, bites or mini puffs, corn chips and salsa, crudités and hummus, or mini pizzas. Try a new microbrewery beer with it!
3. Enjoy a steaming meal
For the main course, opt for a meal that will warm you up, such as a cheese or Burgundy fondue, a raclette, a stew or a soup meal.
