Gourmet Kit - Italian Meatball Sub

This meatball sandwich is tasty, gourmet, and frankly satisfying. If Joey Tribbiani from Friends lived near a Cool&Simple store, he would be hooked to this one! No need to take your frying pan out, we already cooked the veal meatballs for you right here, in Québec. For lunch or dinner, this simple and easy meatball sub will warm you from the inside and won’t leave you hungry.

This Gourmet kit includes:


Preparation : 5 minutes 

Cooking Time : 5 to 7 minutes 

Yield : 2 sandwiches 

Ingredients : 

  • 2 Lumberjack Half-baguettes Cool&Simple 

  • Veal Meatballs – Tomato Basil Sauce 

  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, to taste (optional) 

Instructions : 

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.  

  1. Meanwhile, reheat meatballs according to instructions on packaging.  

  1. Remove baguettes from packaging and bake 8-10 minutes in the oven without previously thawing.  

  1. Cut baguettes open lengthwise and stuff with meatballs and sauce.  

  1. (Optional) Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake in the oven until cheese is melted and slightly golden.  

  1. Serve with side of green salad and enjoy!
