Croffle stuffed with ham and Oka cheese


Croffles are equally delectable as sweet or savoury treats. Here, we share our classic ham and Oka cheese croissant recipe, prepared in croffle form! Dress it up any way you want—our version includes a drizzle of maple syrup to entice the tastebuds. One bite, and you’ll be obsessed by the perfectly balanced crispy, melting, sweet, and salty sides of this simple but oh-so-tasty creation.

Preparation : 15 minutes

Yield: 2 servings

Cooking : 10 minutes


  • 2 uncooked Cool & Simple all-butter croissants
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 2 to 4 slices of OKA raclette cheese (or any other raclette cheese)
  • A dash of maple syrup


  • Waffle iron


Preparation :

  1. Remove the croissants from the packaging and let them rest at room temperature for 10 minutes on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  2. Half each uncooked croissant lengthwise with a sharp knife and insert cheese and ham. Close gently, pinching the croissant if necessary.
  3. Preheat waffle iron to desired level of heat. Once waffle iron is ready, insert the stuffed croissants.
  4. Cook for around 5 minutes (depending on the power of your waffle maker) until the croffles are golden brown
  5. Serve right away with a drizzle of maple syrup. Enjoy!
