Say hello to the croffle — your new favourite treat that combines the delicacy of a butter croissant and the crispiness of a waffle.

Ingredients
- 4 uncooked Cool & Simple all-butter croissants
- 4 tbsp (40 g) maple butter
- 4 tbsp (60 ml) maple syrup
- A few flakes of maple sugar
Preparation
1. Remove the croissants from the packaging and thaw at room temperature for 15 minutes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
2. Preheat the waffle maker. When it’s at the right temperature, insert the uncooked croissants.
3. Cook for about 5 minutes (depending on the power of your waffle iron) until the croffles are golden brown.
4. After cooking, let cool on a plate.
5. Top with butter and maple syrup to taste, add a few maple flakes. Enjoy!
