How to reheat candied pork cheeks
Quick Method (with or without prior thawing):
Place the unopened packet in a pot of boiling water until the contents are hot, about 20 minutes without prior thawing.
In the Oven:
Without opening the packet, put your pork cheek in the refrigerator to thaw. Once thawed, remove it from the packet and place it in the oven at 180°C. This method preserves the flavour and melting texture of the confit pork cheeks.
Is pork cheek a tender meat?
Pork cheek is a highly tender meat! Slow-cooked, it gives a melting and juicy texture that distinguishes it. Also, the meat fibres relax thanks to its duck fat cooking, providing a unique gustatory experience that melts in the mouth.

1-In a saucepan (recommended): Without defrosting, remove bag from the box. Fill a large sauce pan 3/4 full with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and carefully immerse the unopened bag. Reheat during approx. 20 minutes or until the juice appears liquid. If the product is already thawed, reduce cooking time.
2- In the microwave: Defrost the unopened product in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Open the bag and pour the meat and its juices into a microwave-safe dish. Cover and heat through on high for 4 minutes. Baste the meat with its juices, cover, and microwave for an additional 3 minutes.
