Thaw in the refrigerator for 4 hours, then at room temperature for 30 minutes. Unroll the thawed pastry and place it with its parchment paper into your baking dish. Press down the base and sides and prick with a fork.
Unfilled Pie Crust:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Fill with dry beans and bake for 20 minutes on the center rack. Remove dry beans. Let it cool completely before filling as per your recipe.
Single Pie Crust:
Preheat the oven as per your recipe's instructions. Fill the unbaked pastry and bake until the pastry turns golden.
Double Pie Crust:
Preheat the oven as per your recipe's instructions. Fill the unbaked pastry and dampen the edges with water. Unroll the second pastry, remove the parchment paper, and cover the pie. Gently press the edges together and seal by pinching the pastry with fingers or a fork. Make a few slits on top to let steam escape. Bake on the bottom rack until the pastry is golden
