Saucepan: In a saucepan of salted boiling water (5 parts water for 1 part edamame), immerse the frozen edamame and cook for 5 minutes. Then remove them from the pan and immerse them in cold water. Microwave: Place the frozen edamame on a plate with a little water, cover and cook for 3 1/2 minutes to 5 minutes at maximum power. Steam cooker: Pour the bag of frozen edamame into the basket, put the lid on and cook for 10 minutes.
