Without thawing: Place the unopened bag in a pot of boiling water for about 20 minutes. Carefully remove the bag from the water and wait for a few minutes before serving. With thawing: Thaw in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Pour the stew in a microwavable dish and heat for 5 to 6 minutes while stirring from time to time.
