    • 2 rounds of puff pastry
    • 30 mL (2 tbsp) black or mixed sesame seeds
    • 10 mL (2 tsp) honey
    • 1 star-shaped cookie cutter (or any shape you prefer)

  • Preparation

    1. Thaw the puff pastry according to the package instructions.
    2. Preheat the oven to 410°F (210°C) and position the rack in the centre.
    3. Unroll the puff pastry sheets, keeping them on their parchment paper.
    4. Using a cookie cutter, cut out star shapes.
    5. Gather the leftover pastry scraps, roll them out with a rolling pin, and cut additional stars.
    6. Brush the stars with honey, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
    7. Bake for 8–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
    8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
