  • Preparation

    1. Warm the blinis slightly in the oven or in a skillet to make them soft and fluffy.
    2. Thaw the Nordic shrimp according to the package instructions.
    3. In a small mixer or using a fork, blend the avocado (except the reserved quarter), mayonnaise, smoked paprika, and the lime juice and zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    4. Spoon a small amount of the avocado–lime mayo onto each blini.
    5. Top with a few Nordic shrimp.
    6. Sprinkle with avocado cubes and fresh cilantro.
    7. Add a light squeeze of lime just before serving (optional but delicious!).
