  • Preparation

    1. Peel the pears and cut them into small cubes.
    2. In a skillet, melt the butter and caramelize the pears with the maple syrup for 5–7 minutes, until golden and tender.
    3. Meanwhile, warm the blinis in the oven or in a skillet so they become soft and fluffy.
    4. Spoon a small amount of caramelized pears onto each warm blini.
    5. Add a small piece of blue cheese on top.
    6. Finish with freshly ground pepper and serve slightly warm — it’s even better that way.
